"The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine], 26 July 2016": "Daphne McKay Hutchins, 82, died July 22, 2016 at MDI Hospital. She was born April 20, 1934 in Bar Harbor the daughter of Adrian and Virginia (Taylor) McKay. Daphne grew up in Otter Creek and attended school in Otter Creek and Northeast Harbor. She was self-employed in her early years working for a number of seasonal residences; opening and closing cottages, assisting with laundry and cleaning. She and her two boys frequented the Harbor where she had upwards of twenty cottages she attended to. She later worked part-time at the Otter Creek General Store and Post Office. Through this she was able to move into a full-time postal position Daphne was employed as a letter carrier for over 20 years; a job she thoroughly enjoyed allowing her to see and talk with so many friends throughout her route. Remarried in 1980 to her current husband Milton Hutchins, they lived at their water front home at the head of MDI. In 1988 they purchased a winter home in North Fort Myers, Fl. It was there that she had some of her best years. She volunteered for many programs and became well known and was loved by so many residents of the park. Daphne had an outgoing personality that warmed the hearts of many, family and friends alike. Her later years were difficult as her health deteriorated. Yet through the many hospitalizations, she kept her quick wit and friendly smile as she developed some of her strongest bonds with the doctors and nurses at the hospital. The family wishes to extend our gratitude to the staff at MDI for all the care and support given through the years. Thanks are givien to Gentiva and her many homecare givers, including her biggest caregiver Milt. Their love and support allowed her to stay at home for as long as possible.
Daphne is survived by her husband of 36 years Milton Hutchins and a brother Neil McKay and significant other Linda Mason of Ellsworth, two children Richard Higgins of Otter Creek and Stephen Higgins and wife Kathleen of Windham; stepchildren Tom Hutchins and wife Brenda of Iowa, Samuel Hutchins and wife Sandie of California, Susie Cregan and husband Tom of Pennsylvania, Judy Tucker and significant other Mike DiGangi of Ellsworth; grandchildren Justine Higgins and her daughter Aurelia Bea , Brian Higgins, Jeremy Tucker and his wife Karen and their children Tessa and Marshall, Jyl Tucker, Jennifer Tucker, Jay Tucker and daughter Macie, Nathan Hutchins and his wife Leah, Angie Hess and husband David, Andre, Tanya and Timothy Hutchins, Amanda Merrell and her husband JR, MaryAnn Heatherby and husband Josh and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Faith Robbins and her dearest friend, Charlotte Ouellette."

[1821] Robert I was Duke 1028-35. His wife is Estrith, sister of Canute the Great (no issue). Robert was called "Robert the Devil", accused of poisoning his brother (whom Robert succeeded as Duke); he sheltered the exiled English princes, Edward and Alfred; he died returning from a pilgrimage to Jerusalem. In 2007 http://fmg.ac/Projects/MedLands/NORMANDY.htm offers: "Guillaume de Jumièges names (in order) 'Richard, Robert et Guillaume' as the three sons of Duke Richard II and Judith. Ademar names Robert as brother of Richard. Guillaume de Jumièges records that he rebelled against his brother Duke Richard III from his stronghold at Falaise. He succeeded his brother in 1027 as Robert II 'le Diable' Duke of Normandy. 'Rotbertus Normannorum dux, Ricardi filio' founded the abbey of Sainte-Trinité at Rouen in 1030. He gave shelter to Henri, son of Robert II King of France, during his dispute with his mother Queen Constance, the king granting le Vexin to Robert after his accession to the French throne in 1031. He went on pilgrimage to Jerusalem in 1035. Orderic Vitalis dates his departure to 'after seven and a half years', but it is unclear from the context whether this is calculated based on his accession or his father's death. Guillaume de Jumièges records the death of Duke Robert 2 Jul 1035 at Nikea on his return from a pilgrimage to Jerusalem, and his burial in the basilica of St Mary at Nikaia. According to the Anglo-Saxon Chronicle, he died while on pilgrimage in 1031. Orderic Vitalis specifies that Duke Robert died 'in the city of Nicæa in Bythinia'. William of Malmesbury recounts that his remains were disinterred from Nikaia on the orders of his son, but interred in Apulia on their way back to France after the messenger learnt of the death of William I King of England. Mistress (1): ---. Robert de Torigny names 'Aeliz' as daughter of Duke Robert II 'de alia concubina' from Herleve. The name of Duke Robert's first mistress is not known. Mistress (2): Herleve [Arlette], daughter of Fulbert [de Falaise] & his wife Doda [Duwa] ---. Guillaume de Jumièges names 'Herlève fille le Fulbert valet de chamber du duc' as mother of Duke Guillaume II, recording that 'un certain Herluin, brave chevalier, prit Herlève pour femme' after the death of Duke Robert. Orderic Vitalis calls her 'Duke Robert's concubine', and records her marriage, referring to her husband as stepfather to Duke Guillaume. The Chronicle of Alberic de Trois-Fontaines refers to the mother of Duke Guillaume as 'filia-Herbertus pelliparius et uxor eius Doda sive Duwa', specifying that they were from Chaumont in the diocese of Liège but moved to Falaise but that others said they were from Huy, and refers to her marriage to 'Herlewino de Vado comitis. [51442] "Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine], 17 September 2022": "Penobscot - Dennis Brian Robertson passed peacefully at home on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. He was the fourth beloved child of Ralph Dodge and Marcia I. Leach Robertson. Dennis courageously battled pancreatic cancer for 10.5 years but did not allow it to keep him from using his gifts to help others. Throughout his life, Dennis grew up with faith. In 2012, when he started his journey with cancer, he said that he was at peace with the Good Lord and His plan. Near the end of his life, Dennis realized that he was much more prepared for God's plan and hoped that his life's work pleased the Lord. Dennis' loving family, wife Patricia (Trisha) Robertson and daughters Dawn and Debra, took very special care of him. Dennis did not let cancer hold him back. He was often seen around town in his recliner still enjoying and supporting his family and friends. Dennis graduated from George Stevens Academy in 1971, and received an associate degree in Electronics Technology in 1973 from Eastern Maine Vocational Technical Institute in Bangor, and a degree in Business Management in 1978 from Northern Essex Community College in Haverhill, MA. Dennis worked for Raytheon Defense Systems in Andover and Burlington, MA, GTE Sylvania in Needham, MA and AVCO/Textron Defense Systems in Wilmington, MA as an engineer. In 1973, Dennis married Patricia McKay, the woman he loved, his friend and partner for life. They moved to Salem, N.H. and started their family before returning home in 1990 when they purchased Eggemoggin Country Store (ECS) in Sedgwick. In the 30 years, 6 months and 4 days of owning the store, it was more than just a job for Dennis; it was an opportunity to serve the people of the community that he loved. A treasured memory was the fun Holiday Celebration each year when Santa arrived for a visit by horse and buggy! Also, summer Car Cruizins were a fun social evening for the community. Dennis was very proud to bring his red 1969 Shelby Mustang and blue 1986 Jeep Pickup! They formed wonderful friendships during their years at ECS. Dennis was a member of the Penobscot Fire Dept for 31 years, serving as Chief for 11 of those years from 2007-2018. He also was a member of the Sedgwick Fire Dept while the owner of ECS. Dennis LOVED both, serving the community in this capacity and the camaraderie and bond he formed with his fellow chiefs and firefighters. Dennis was a problem solver and loved boating with his family in Penobscot Bay, spending time with his beloved siblings Shan, Bonnie and Dale, coaching girls' softball, music (especially Gospel, bluegrass and Frankie Valli), audio/video work, electrical work, spending July 4 at the Webb's camp, helping others and taking care of his family, neighbors and community. Dennis is survived by his wife Tricia; two daughters, Dawn Robertson and boyfriend Remington Nucum of Honolulu, HI and Debra Robertson of Gorham; siblings Shannon Maresca and her husband, Louis Johnson, of Honolulu, HI, Bonnie Grindle of Dracut, MA, and Dale Robertson and his wife, Stephanie, of Colchester, CT; 16 special nieces and nephews; 24 great nieces and nephews, and several great great nieces and nephews; and a special Aunt Patricia (Pat) Leach of Hollowell. Dennis was predeceased by his parents, Ralph and Marcia; brothers-in-law Jerry Grindle and Bob McKay; and sister-in-law Linelle Whitney McKay."
