[13761] "Shamokin News-Dispatch [Shamokin, PA], 8 July 1957," p. 2: "Mrs. Alma Evangeline (Seiler) Greenman, 67, of 25 West Church Street, expired last evening at 7:55 in Geisinger Memorial Hospital, Danville, where she was a patient during the past 11 days. Death was caused by a complication, terminating an illness of one month's duration. A daughter of the late Daniel G. and Jemima (Weicksel) Seiler, Mrs. Greenman was born in Shamokin July 26, 1889. A resident of Shamokin 58 years, Mrs. Greenman lived in Rhode Island from 1910 to 1918. A graduate of Shamokin High School in 1908, the late local resident was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She was an active member of the Missionary Society of the church. Mrs. Greenman was married in Renovo, October 19, 1910, to Arthur Greenman, who died in 1928. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. John Rentzheimer, Bethlehem: Mrs. Helen Malone, Aberdeen, Md., and Mrs. William Whitmore, Shamokin; two brothers, Victor and Walter Seiler, Shamokin; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren."
