Fensch, 44, of 601 Springmill street, clerk in the Mansfield postoffice for the past 19 years, succumbed Friday night at General hospital after a three weeks illness. He was born in this city May 9, 1889, and has always been a Mansfield resident. He entered the postoffice service in 1914, and has been identified with the Federation of Postal Clerks during his period of service, Mr. Fensch was also a member of St. Mark's Lutheran church, and of Mansfield lodge, 35,. F. & A. M. He was married to Mies Lucy Roth on Oct 8, 1914. She and three children, Helen, William and Richard, survive. His mother, Mrs. Anna Fensch, a brother, Richard Q. Fensch, and two sisters, Miss Ottilie and Nellie Fensch, all of Mansfield, also survive."

Find A Grave memorial 71827702 offers: "Born in Baden, Germany. Parents were Johann Michael Weidenmeier (there are countless spellings of this last name) and Anna Maria Catharina Kenne. At some point, Kenne was spelled, Kinney. The Weidenmeier family immigrated in 1846. Michael died about a year later on a return trip from Germany where he had gone to collect an inheritance. The ship he was on collided with another one and he, along with many others drowned. Anna Maria then married Johann Braun (AKA John Brown) 9 February 1849 in Crawford County, Ohio. She bore him 5 sons, John Jr, William John, Jacob, Philip, and Charles."
