[52585] "The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 29 September 2010, p. 12: "Caribou - Vivian Eva Willey, 77, a great and special lady, has left Sept. 26, 2010 at a Bangor hospital after a two-year struggle with several health challenges. She was born April 26, 1933 in Frenchville, the oldest child of the late Ledo and Eva (Albert) Chasse. Alter the early death of her father, her mother married Bernard Dumond, who became her 'dad.' She was raised and attended school in Frenchville and St. Agatha. She came to live in Sinclair, where she met her husband of 59 years, Philip Willey. They wed July 28, 1951. Together they built a remarkable life. She had many loves in her life. Her first love was always her husband and family. She relished the opportunity of bringing family together for food and fun. Her next love would be her many close friends, especially Josephine St. Peter and Doreen Webb. She loved her work as a homemaker and the owner and operator of her own property management business, VEW Management. She loved her church and nurtured a profound faith. A devout Catholic, she served as a model to many with an unshakeable belief in the goodness of God and comfort of faith. Her four children and their spouses carry on her memory, Ron and Lou Willey, Barrett Willey and Bonnie Whitmore, Rick and Lisa Willey, and Vicky Willey and Paul Kemberling. Twelve grandchildren, Jared, Rebekkah, Sarah, Amy, Rachael, Benjamin, Ethan, Philip, Eli, Elisha, Jeremiah and Grace; and four great-grandchildren, Malachai, Samantha, Ephraim and Hannah, join together in cherishing their grandmother and great-grandmother. She was especially close to her two brothers and their families, Phillip and Tina Chasse, and Edmund and Carmen Dumond; as well as her sister, Maxine and Armand Guerrette; and her brother-in-law and his family, Loomis and Mary Willey."

"The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine], 20 April 2003," p. 30: "Penobscot - Charles Austin Hutchins, 73, died April 17, 2003, at Blue Hill Memorial Hospital, following a long illness. He was born Sept. 23, 1929, in Penobscot, the son of Lloyd and Marguerite (Perkins) Hutchins. He graduated in 1947 from Clark High School in Penobscot. He served in the U.S. Navy as an engine man. Immediately following his discharge he returned to Penobscot and lived on the farm where he was born until his death. He was employed for 36 years by St. Regis Champion Paper Co. in Bucksport, retiring in 1987. Charles was a self-taught craftsman and prior to his retirement, while still working at the mill, built virtually single-handedly, his own home on the site of the original family homestead. He loved spending his summers gardening and haying and his winters cutting pulpwood, firewood, and logs which he had milled to provide most of the lumber he used to build his home. He will be dearly missed by his wife of nearly 55 years, Georgia of Penobscot; his daughters, Cheryl Hutchins and her husband, Benjamin Long, of Vienna, Va., and Carla Hutchins of Carmel; his brother, Hoyt Hutchins and his wife, Pauline, of Penobscot; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and innumerable friends. He was predeceased by his parents; and two brothers, Lloyd Hutchins Jr. and Berwyn Hutchins, both of whom also lived in Penobscot."
