She was born in Sedgwick Aug. 22, 1931, to Albert Allen and Katherine Sanborn Allen. Polly is survived by her daughter Alison Lamond and husband, Alan, of Arkansas; son Peter Gray and wife, Dawn, of Brooklin; sister Lois Allen of Freeport; grandchildren Adrienne Lamond of Arkansas and Ashlyn Gray (Kyle) of Deer Isle; great-grandchildren Domanic Newton of Arkansas and Emery and Harper Jones of Deer Isle; many nieces and nephews; special cousin Lawrence Allen of Massachusetts; and a special friend, Rhoda Grant of Sedgwick. She was predeceased by her husband, Belford Gray, brother Orville Sanborn and sisters Maryann Allen Matthews, Doris Webb and Beverly Watts."
