After high school she moved to Seattle then returned to Aberdeen and married LeRoy Towle. Their life together took them to South Bend, Winlock, and Aberdeen, eventually settling in Shelton, WA, where they lived for the next 13 years. In 1964, the Towle family moved to Olympia, WA where LeRoy worked for Safeway and Dorothy continued her career as an Avon Representative in the Shelton and Olympia areas. Dorothy was devoted to her husband and children, always participating in their many activities. She enjoyed clam digging, fishing, camping, and picnics at Schafer State Park with her family, sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews. She was an inspiration and role model to many, welcomed everyone into her home, and will be greatly missed by those whose lives she touched. Dorothy was preceded in death by LeRoy, her husband of 68 years; parents, Simeon and Maybelle; step father, Earl Koons; brother, Robert; sisters, Geraldine Grine, and Loretta Valentino. Dorothy is survived by sisters, Delores, Peggy, and Rosemary; and brother, Warren. She is also survived by her sons, Robert Warren (Jan), Ronald LeRoy (Brian); daughter, Linda Marie (Carl) Anderson; 5 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.
