[33234] See a posting in http://genforum.genealogy.com/ca/santacruz/messages/146.html 15 May 2005 for this line - NOT verified! William is said to be son of William Gee and Martha Turner. Find A Grave memorial 147224527 offers: "William, son of William Gee and Martha Turner. According to the census, William Gee was residing at Shawangunk, Ulster Co., NY in 1790. In 1812 he removed to Virgil, Cortland Co., NY and died the next year. It is possible that he was buried here, on the 600 acres of land his first cousin, John Gee, was awarded for his Revolutionary War service, as the Virgil Rural Cemetery was not yet in use. William Gee's wife was Elanah ('Helena') Parlman Gee."
