"Republican and Herald [Pottsville, Pennsylvania], 4 April 1935," p. 4: "Jerome Levanovich, popular young nan, has returned to his home at 201 West Coal street after being graduated from the Eckel's School of Embalming, Philadelphia. He will take his state board examination for a mortician's license later. Mr. Levanovich is the son of the late William and Margaret Levanovich. The Levanovich undertaking business established by his father over 48 years ago and oontinued by his wife until her death, is still being carried on by a daughter, Mrs. Jennie O'Haren, wife of undertaker Thomas O'Haren. Jerome is a graduate of the Shenandoah High School, class of 1933. His many friends in the community will be pleased to learn of his graduation from the Eckel school, and his early entrance into the business so successfully established by his parents."
"Republican and Herald [Pottsville, Pennsylvania], 27 February 1956," p. 8: "Jerome Levanovich, former Shenandoah undertaker, died suddenly Saturday morning after being stricken in a hotel in Philadelphia. He was pronounced dead on arrival at Hahnemann Hospital. For a number of years he conducted his undertaking business at Coal and West streets where his parents had also been engaged in the same business. He later moved to North Main street. Surviving are his widow, Agnes, two sons, Airman 1/c Jerome, of South Carolina, and Airman 1/c John, in Alaska; a daughter, Abbie Anne; a sister, Mrs. Jennie O'Haren and a niece, Christine O'Haren, both of Baltimore, Md. His body will be brought to town for burial."

The LDS Church's unverified Ancestral File (AFN:LXDZ-9B) states that Joseph d. in 1814 in Frederick, VA and that he is son of Hugh Parrill (sic) and Ann _____. http://www.parrill.com/memoirs.htm reports that Joseph is son of Hugh Parrell and Ann Calvert; Hugh had 433 acres of land in the Reb Bud area of Frederick Co., VA.
Will of Joseph Parrell (posted in Ancestry.com):
In the name of God Amen I Joseph Parrell being in sound mind and body do make and ordain this my last will and testament in form and manner and form following Viz; First I give and bequeath to my son Hugh the plantation on which I now live together with all my horses and farming utensils To my three daughters what now live at home, Mary, Sarah and Ann my other stock and all my movable property. Also it is my will that my four children live together (Hugh, Mary, Sarah Sexton and Ann Parrell). If either of my daughters should marry or move off the plantation they now live on, said daughters shall have one full third of my movable property that is on the plantation or house, except the horses and farmtools provided, Hugh, Mary, Sarah, and Ann shall in common jointly enjoy profits and privileges of said plantation. Should Hugh Parrell die without heir from his body, then the plantation is sold or equally divided between my sons John and Joseph Parrell or their heirs. To my son John Parrell and my son Joseph Parrell I give the plantation on which they now live, but John shall have 20 acres more than Joseph. Also that 6 acres of my land now in meadow be attached to Hugh's plantation and divided at his death as the same as other part of plantation. I will and bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth Grimes $25.00 to be paid by my son John 12 months after my decease. Also my daughter Rebecca Cooper $25.00 paid by my son Hugh 18 months after my decease.
