She was hospitalized for a year and a half. Born at Gratz, Mrs. Geist was a daughter of the late Jonathan and Amelia Daniels. A resident of Girardville most of her life, she was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and its Ladies Aid Society. Her husband, Frank Geist, died 13 years ago. She made her home with a niece and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. John Williams, at Girardville. Surviving are a brother, John, of Philadelphia, and nieces and nephews. Funeral Friday morning from Cooke Funeral Home, Girardville. Further services in Zion Lutheran Church, Girardville. Interment in Christ Church Cemetery, Fountain Springs."

Hinckley Sr. and Bertha (Gilbert) Bouchard. Gail spent many years working as a bank teller in Blue Hill and surrounding areas and could also be seen working at the meat counter over the years alongside her husband Merrill Leach at Merrill and Hinckley in Blue Hill. She loved country music and singing, watching old westerns, playing cards and board games and could be quite competitive, especially when playing Yahtzee with her daughters."
