"Des Moines Tribune [Des Moines, Iowa], 17 July 1964," p. 10: "Winterset, IA. - Kenneth Eyerly, 52, nursery operator, died of a heart attack at home here Thursday evening. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Robert of Reno, Nev.; John of Cottonwood, Idaho, and Donald of Winterset; his mother, Mrs. Mebel McBride of Winterset; three sisters and three grandchildren. Services will be at 3 p. m. Saturday at the Methodist Church, with burial here." Ancestry.com offers: "Eyerly Name Meaning - Possibly an altered spelling of German Eyerle, from a Germanic personal name formed with ecke sword, blade."
