On his death he left two sons and a daughter, Mabella, married to Robert, 6th Earl of Sutherland. The LDS Church's unverified Pedigree Resource Fille reports that John was b. in 1336 in Moray, Scotland, and d. there in 1402 - but the LDS Church's unverified IGI file states that John d. before 15 Feb 1391.
