Both legs were broken and his skull fractured. Carter's team started to run away and he ran into the street to stop them when struck."

An Eva Connor whose Social Security card was issued in ME, born 7 Feb 1918, died in March, 1987 in Bristol, TN. Eva is buried in lot 296 in the Castine Town Cemetery.
