[2689] http://www.earlybritishkingdoms.com/bios/erichby.html offers: "Erich, King of Brittany (Born c.AD 425) (Welsh: Gereint; Latin: Ericius; English: Eric) King Rivod's uncle, Erich, may have held the Breton throne for a short time in his twilight years. It has been suggested that he was the original Eric in the tale of "Eric and Enid" that the Welsh later transformed into a story concerning King Gerren (alias Gereint) of Dumnonia as "Gereint and Enid". King Erich died in 478 and was succeeded by his son, Budic II."

[30263] A file in Ancestry.com in 2010 offers: "Old Times in North Yarmouth, Maine vol 7 no. 1 - Jan 1, 1883 - page 1110 Amos Clough aged 91 years, says: I was born in Brentwood, NH. Benjamin Welch of this town was my uncle. He came from Kingston, NH. I came to North Yarmouth to see my uncle the next year after the meeting house was enlarged in Aprl (1763), and worked at Col. Powell's until the fall of 1765. I was married to my present wife the spring before (May) 1765, and moved to the farm I now live on the next fall (1766). I bought my land of Powell. They lived in North Yarmouth, ME. They both lived well into their 90's. The War Record of Amos may include service at Crown Point, NY, in Capt. Jeremiah Marston's Company, of Hampton, NH, John Goffe's Regt., in French and Indian War in 1762. He enlisted July 3, 1775 in the Revolution and was in Capt. Parker's Company, a private of North Yarmouth, Cumberland, ME."
