Mr. Paul was last employed by Bethlehem Steel Corporation. He resided in Herndon for the last 33 years and was a previous resident of Klingerstown. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Herndon Fire Company and Herndon Council. He was born in Valley View, a son of the late Charles and Katie Schlegel Paul. Surviving are his widow the former Mae Bower; eight sons, Charles, RD1 Shamokin; Mark, Trevorton; Willard RD Winfield; Kenneth, RD Paxinos; Raymond,. West, 73, former superintendent of the Fayetteville Water Company and a member of a plumbing and heating business in Fayetteville for 30 years, died unexpectedly of a heart attack at 12:05 o'clock this morning at the Chambersburg Hospital. Mr. West was preceded in death by his wife, Nora Stoner West, on January 13. He was born Dec. 7, 1884, in Fayetteville, a son of the late Adam and Mary Freshman West. Mr. West was a former tax collector in Greene Township. During World War II he was employed as a guard at the Letterkenny Ordnance Depot. A member of the Fayetteville Evangelical United Brethren Church, he also held membership in these fraternal organizations: George Washington Lodge No. 143, F & AM; BPOE No. 600; Columbus Lodge No. 75, IOOF, and the Caledonia Lions Club. He is survived by five sons and four daughters: Donald C. West, 619 Lincoln Way East; Charles W., of 527 Lincoln Way East; Garnet E., of Chambersburg; Paul M. and Max H., both of Fayetteville; Mrs. William A.
