[46580] "The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 5 November 1946, p. 15: "Discovered by a resident in the next apartment when she did not appear about her morning tasks, Mrs. Mabel Tyler, 72, was found dead in her bed yesterday morning at her apartment, 67 Center street, where she had lived for 18 years. Dr. H.C. Scribner, a county medical examiner, said death was due to natural causes. Mrs. Tyler had been down town Saturday and attended Sunday services at the Universalist church, of which she was an active and devoted member. She was the widow of Clarence Tyler of Newport, who was in business in this section for many years. Surviving are two cousins, Mrs. George Brewster of Dedham and Willis Goodwin of Whitman, Mass.; and several distant relatives."
