[37690] Kriss Replogle's unverified file in http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com in 2014 provides this person and offers: "from RRG 1st ed. (1984). They res Clark and/or Greene Co OH near neighbor to Adam Replogle, Rs. (116). Christian Wiland (Wyland) is mentioned in many of Adam Replogle, Sr.'s estate papers; and Christian presented a bill to the Greene Co Oh Court in 1825 for taking care of Adam's son, Emanuel (116:3). A family story regarding Christian Wyland's father follows: 'About 1758-1760 there came from Holland to PA, a young husband, George Phillip and wife Anna (Broombaugh, Brumbaugh) Metzger and another young man William Westly Weiland (Wyland). These three unable to pay their fare sold themselves to different parties for a time equal to the cost of their ocean trip. After their indenture was served they went into the interior of PA. The son or grandson fo William Weiland married the daughter of George Phillip Metzger. They are Christian and Ann Catherine (Metzger) Wyland. Christian was born 1765 in Morrison's Cove PA.' from Robert Weinland GEDCOM Oct 1998 [rweinl@mail.dotcom.fr]. 1830 census, OH Greene Co., Bath Twp, p 344."
