[4607] Michael's information is from the unverified Snediker Family Tree in Ancestry.com in 2013. A Michael Call was born ca. 1824 to Abraham Call and (H)Ester Shelley according to the LDS Church's unverified IGI file - which states Michael was of PA and Abraham was of OH! The 1880 census of Dover, Fulton Co., OH lists a Michael Caul [sic], age 63, farmer, as head of household, with with Catharine (age 50) and Ida Jewell (age 12) - and shows Michael b. in PA and his wife and Ida b. in OH - this Catharine is no doubt wife of Sarah Jewell's brother, John, and had remarried.

For the one we believe is ours, see the unverified file LZDY-RG2 in familysearch.org which offers: "When Samuel H. Colson was born on 14 July 1818, in New Brunswick, Canada, his father, Samuel Colson IV, was 21 and his mother, Ann Walton, was 19. He married Susan K. Archer on 9 May 1840, in Cherryfield, Washington, Maine, United States. They were the parents of at least 1 son and 7 daughters. He died on 5 March 1887, in Sherburne, Minnesota, United States, at the age of 68, and was buried in Vernon Cemetery, Elk River, Sherburne, Minnesota, United States." He became proprieter of the Sherbourne House hotel in Elk River. Our Samuel is with wife Susan in Cherryfield at the time of the 1850 federal census. https://accessgenealogy.com/maine/settlers-narraguagus-valley.htm offers: "Steuben was formerly township 'No. 4, East of Union River,' and No. 5 comprised the territory now included in the towns of Milbridge and Harrington. The town of Cherryfield is composed of No. 11, Middle Division, Brigham Purchase, and of the northeastern part of what was formerly Steuben. All that part of Cherryfield lying south of the mills on the first or lower dam was, prior to 1826, a part of Steuben, and was called Narraguagus to distinguish it from the settlement in the southwestern part, which was called 'Head of the Bay,' and the post office at Cherryfield was called 'Narraguagus' until within some twenty-five years past. What is now the flourishing town of Milbridge was a part of Harrington until 1848. Harrington (No. 5) was incorporated as a town in 1791, Steuben (No. 4) in 1795, Cherryfield (No. 11) in 181G, and the northeast part of Steuben was annexed to Cherryfield in 1826."

Leighton of Florham Park, N.J., Mr. Lawrence (Carol) Budden of Greenville, Mrs. Ernest (Dian) Bonsey of Dover-Foxcroft; 17 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; several step-great-grandchildren; cousins nieces and nephews." Ella is daughter of David F. Preble (1885-1962) & Florence May Turner (1893-1953; m. 24 January 1910 in Maine).
