Find A Grave memorial 28259494 offers Harriet's obituary and further information:
Harriet Bright was born June 18th 1824 and died August 11th 1892 aged 68 years, 1 month, and 23 days. The deceased first marriage was to Jacob Stuter. This union was blessed with three children. Her second marriage was to John Bright, July 24th 1853.To this union were born 3 children, one of which preceded her to the spirit world. Mr. and Mrs. Bright lived in union a little over 39 years. The deceased has been a faithful, consistent Christian and member of the Evangelical as for many years. She has been invalid for over 3 years, however, conscious to the last. She endured her affliction with patience, not a murmur escaped her lips. Her pastor visited her frequently during her affliction and always found her in a prayerful and submissive condition, ready at any time to depart and be at rest. The husband loses an affectionate companion:the children a loving Mother; the church a consistent member, but our loss is her eternal gain. She is at rest. The funeral took place at the St Paul Church, (Bright Church) August 13th 1892. Sermon was preached at 10 am to a large concourse of people by the pastor."
--------------------------------
Her 3 children by Jacob Stuter were Samantha, Wilson and Percival. She also had 3 children by John Bright, one died in infancy, and then she had two daughters Julia(Zula) and Laura.
[59608] Celia is said to be daughter of Edward Creech & Betsey Ridlon (1789-1869).

[57147] Find A Grave memorial 254782489 offers: "With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our mother to the loving arms of her heavenly Father. Mom was a homemaker, doing all the work around the house that is required to raise a family. When we boys graduated and left home, she applied for a job in the Jonesport - Beals school system and spent 15 plus years as a substitute teacher/study hall monitor. She loved to read, knit, listen to music and dance. She loved to eat and would try anything at least once. She loved people and always saw the good in everybody; she invited everyone to visit her on her porch. She loved sitting on the porch in the sun with her binoculars watching the boats go by and listening to the men talk on the VHF radio. I can hear her say, 'The mouths on those boys!' but she didn't stop listening. She was a neighborhood mom to all the kids; all were welcome to her home. She is pre-deceased by her mom, Kathleen E. Smith/Palmer/Alley and her dad, Ernest S. Palmer; her husband, Calvert N. Carver; her son, Randy S. Blackwood; her twin sister, Lucille and Lucille's husband, Wayne Woodward; many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews, all of whom are missed dearly. She is survived by sons Bill Blackwood, Ronald Carver and his wife, Lisa, Steven Carver, and daughter in-law Dot Blackwood; grandchildren, Shanna Blackwood, Erick Blackwood and his wife, Crystal, Terrell Carver, Kristy Blackwood and her partner, Joe Murray, Noel Blackwood and his wife, Andrea, and Royce Blackwood. Her surviving great-grandchildren are Zach Vincent, Emma Vincent, Tyler Blackwood, and Caden Blackwood. She is also remembered by many family members and friends. She was a proud member of the Jonesport Historical Society and served as an officer for many years."
