Inq. p.m. vol.11, no 288]. Even if this age is incorrect, it is clear that John could not have been born before the late 1320s. He was certainly the son of Katherine, the daughter of John de Bures and his wife Hawise (Muscegros), as is clear from the descent of the manor of Boddington, Gloucestershire [Victoria County History, Gloucestershire, vol.8, p.190]. Katherine's age was variously given as 26 and more, 30 and more and 35 and more at the inquisitions taken after her father's death in 1351 [Cal. Inq. p.m., vol.9, no 578], but in any case she must have been born after the death of her mother's previous husband John de Ferrers, about August 1312 [Complete Peerage, vol.5, p.309]. According to Complete Peerage, vol.2, p.46, note f, Giles was married to Katherine in 1329; in this year, the manor of Boddington was settled on the couple [Victoria County History, Gloucestershire, vol.8, p.190, citing CP 25(1)/286/35/34]."

Louis XVIII (1755-1824), king of France (1814-15, 1815-24); he ascended
the throne when the monarchy was restored after the overthrow of Napoleon
and ruled as a constitutional sovereign. Born in Versailles, he was the
brother of Louis XVI of France and in early life was known as the comte de
Provence. He remained in Paris after the outbreak of the French Revolution
in 1789 but escaped to Belgium two years later. After Louis XVI's
execution in 1793 he proclaimed himself regent, and after the death of his
brother's heir, Louis XVII, in 1795, he took the title Louis XVIII. He
lived as an exile in various European countries until he became king after
Napoleon's first abdication in 1814. On Napoleon's return to power in
1815, however, Louis again fled to Belgium; later the same year he was
restored to the throne after Napoleon's final defeat at Waterloo. The
Charter, or constitution, that he promulgated in 1814 established a
bicameral legislature, property qualifications for voters, and limitations
on freedom of the press. Beginning in 1816, Louis, influenced by his
liberal minister Élie Decazes (1780-1860), experimented with extending the
franchise and easing censorship. After 1820 he was increasingly dominated
by the reactionary Ultras, led by his brother, who succeeded to the throne
as Charles X on Louis's death.

Mrs. Heichel had suffered from Parkinson's disease. She was born in Iowa and lived in Santa Cruz for almost 30 years. Family members say she was independent and quit school at 16 to work, but returned later to complete her studies. Mrs. Heichel met her future husband at Bell Telephone and the couple left for California in a new 1929 Chevrolet, despite a blizzard. The Chevy cost $500. They were married 62 years. The couple celebrated their golden anniversary in 1979, and the Sentinel reported that the couple rode to the party in a '30s era Chevy, followed by friends and relatives riding in vintage cars. They lunched at Gilda's, on the wharf. Mrs. Heichel loved her grandchildren and was a kid herself when it came to ice cream and chocolate, family members say. She was both light-hearted and a firm disciplinarian. She loved to win at dominos. Mrs. Heichel had many interests, including travel and camping, especially in Yosemite. She was an avid antique collector who rented space at After Effects on Soquel, and was adept at sewing and knitting. She also became a canny real estate investor after her children left home, her daughter said. Mrs. Heichel was a born-again Christian, and one of her greatest joys to was to sing and play hymns on the piano. She is survived by daughters Laurie Potovsky-Beachell of Rosser, Manitoba, Canada, Susan Heichel of Lake Oswego, Ore., and Carol Glover of Santa Cruz; sons Bill Heichel and Don Heichel, both of Santa Cruz; 13 grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter. Her parents, two sisters, a brother, her husband, J. L. 'Clair' Heichel, and a baby son, Richard, died before her." Loleta r. Santa Cruz, CA as a widow. The 1 June 1900 federal census lists Frank at Fort Wadsworth New York as a 2nd Lt. in Co. M, 5th Artillery. The "Official Army Register for 1920" lists him as Lt. Col. in 1917 and honorably discharged from the coastal artillery corps 31 Aug 1919, and shows that he began his military career 19 June 1895 as a cadet and attended the Graduate Artillery School in 1904. FindAGrave.com offers: "Colonel Frank C. Jewell graduated from the United States Military Academy in 1899. He was with the Coast Artillery Corps. He served in the Spanish-American and World Wars and commanded the Railroad Artillery Reserve in the Meuse-Argonne offensive during World War I. He died on November 20, 1931 at Walter Reed Hospital, where he had been a patient for about a year. He came to the hospital from Fort McPherson, Georgia. Survivors included his wife, Cecil M. Jewell and two daughters, Mrs. John Lockwood [Cecil] Burnside and Bobbie Jewell. Interment was at West Point, New York.

[51894] "The Ellsworth American [Ellsworth, Maine], 17 January 2018": "Ellsworth - Eleanor Ruth (Lynch) Anderson passed away quietly at home on Jan. 9, 2018. She was the youngest daughter of Mildred (Hatch) and Joseph Lynch. She was born in Newark, N.J., but after her parents divorced her mother brought her children back to East Orland, where they lived next to her mothers brother, 'Uncle Roy.' Eleanor and her siblings attended grade school in East Orland and then went onto Bucksport High School. After graduation, 'Ellie' worked in Bangor and Ellsworth until she met her husband, George Anderson. They were married April 30, 1954, and together raised six children and helped to raise six grandchildren, as well as several neighbor children. Her main occupation in life was as a housewife and mother. After her children were all in school, she worked part time as an operator for AT&T followed by several years at The Union Trust Bank of Ellsworth. She was a lifelong member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, known today as Community of Christ. She loved and supported that community so much, as they did her. Ellie was predeceased by her parents, sisters Doris Judkins and Helen Gross, her husband George, a niece and several nephews. Ellie is survived by her brother Robert Lynch, wife, Dolores; her six children Kathleen; James; Stephen, wife, Antonia; Sheila, husband, Tim Kunzweiler; Mark, girlfriend Haley Harshaw; Cynthia and husband, Joe Zucchero. Six grandchildren Chelsea, husband, Clay Shanks; Alex Kunzweiler, wife, Amber; Sean Anderson, Rachel Kunzweiler, Sarah Zucchero and Christian Zucchero; one great-granddaughter Maggie Shanks; several nieces and nephews as well as loving and cherished friends."

"Robert Swyft died before his father; a deed of 1561 shows that the manors of Wadsley, Wickersley and Worrall were assigned to Francis Leake; Beighton, Birley and Hackenthorpe, with the parsonage of Beighton was assigned to Wortley; and the estate at Broomhall and another at North Lees, Derbyshire to Jessop.

Testator's wife at the date of his will is named Margaret. His property included the manors of Bothamsall, West Drayton, Olkeslaye upon Stokehill and East Drayton, co.
