[717] Mathias engaged in the logging business with his brother, Samuel; they died within a week of each other. He resided at Greenland, NH. The 1902 Haines genealogy states (p. 26) "after marrying...he settled near the old homestead. He, with Leonard Weeks, was appointed in his father's will to see that his brother executed all the provisions of the will." He was a juryman in 1683.

"Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 8 April 2022: "Glenburn - Timothy Hodgkins, 72, died March 31, 2022, peacefully in his home with his wife at his side. He was born July 12, 1949, in Bangor, Maine the son of Dana and Marjorie Hodgkins. Tim graduated from Bangor High School in 1967. By that time, he had already found his passion in life, obtaining his first temporary airman certificate at the age of 17. Tim served in the United States Army from 1967 to 1969. He enjoyed a long career in aviation.
He was the owner of KT Aviation at Luckey Landing Seaplane Base on Pushaw Pond, which he co-founded with his late wife Kathy. He worked as a pilot for Folsom's Flying Service, Bar Harbor Airlines, and Northwest Airlines and served as Chief Pilot for Penobscot Island Air. He was a floatplane pilot and instructor and a Designated Pilot Examiner. In his later career, he found a great deal of pleasure in being a corporate pilot for a variety of business owners and families. An advisor/mentor to many, Tim spent countless hours helping friends and strangers alike with all things aviation. He had a remarkable ability to remember details and specifications of many types and models of planes. Tim was also involved in his local community, serving on the Planning Board of Glenburn for twenty years. He was generous to many charitable and non-profit organizations, as well as family and friends. He was an avid dog lover, photographer, and storyteller. He is survived by his wife, Laura Specyal; his brothers, Peter, Dennis and Randy; his sister, Pat; nieces and nephews, and many friends. He was predeceased by his parents; his wife, Kathy; his brothers, Bryan and David."
