He was born in Glenwood, April 26, 1933, the son of Rueben Roy and Viola Alice (Carl) Aldrich. Bobby was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and was a member of the American Legion Post No. 47. He worked in the woods, mostly as a heavy equipment operator, and he always loved to go to work. He enjoyed camping, snowsledding and traveling. He loved kids and enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports. He was a member of the Haynesville Baptist Church. In addition to his wife, Barbara, he is survived by a son Bruce Aldrich and his wife Susan, and their children, Christina Marie and Traci Susan of Haynesville; a stepson, Blaine Johnson and his wife. Patty of Haynesville; two stepdaughters, Cheryl Cropley, Karen Gallant, and her husband, Don all of Brewer; a brother Roy Dalton Aldrich of Haynesville; a sister, Marilyn Stubbs and her husband, Winston of Orono; a half sister, Marguerite Steeves and her husband, George of Lincoln; four additional grandchildren, Toni Marie Goding of New Boston, Va., Dana Bruce Johnson, Jeff Robert Cropley, both of Haynesville, and Albert Charles Gallant of Brewer; three great-grandchildren, Lauren Holt of Brewer, Jay LeBaron and Jeremy Cropley, both of Bucksport, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a half-sister, Dorothy Libby."
