Mrs. Dearie had lived in Mountain Lakes for 54 years before moving to Boonton several years ago. With her husband, she was a founding member of St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, Mountain Lakes. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, James, Michael, Joseph and Matthew Farrell, and by her sisters, Marion Gilroy and Kathleen Gordon. A devoted wife and mother, she is survived by her beloved husband of 67 years, John Paul Dearie; her sons, Christopher, John and J. Lawrence Dearie; her daughters, Maureen Husk and Gertrude Frekko; her brother, Gerard Farrell; and 19 grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to call at Lewis & Carey, Directors of Funerals, 312 W. Main St., Boonton on Saturday, Aug. 28, 11 a.m. -12:30 p.m. and then to join family members for the celebration of Mrs. Dearie's Liturgy of Christian Burial at 1 p.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, Boulevard and Pocono Road, Mountain Lakes.
