Prom 1954 to ' 1961, Minick was a justice of the peace in New Buffalo, Perry County. He was a member of the Friendship Fire Company, this borough, and of the New Buffalo Fire Company. He is survived by his wife, Emma Shiley Minick, and four sons: Scott M.. Bainbridge; Dean C. and Guy B., Elizabethtown R. D. 1, and George C, Newville, Cumberland County. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a half-brother, Guy Shanafelter, Blaine, Perry County." William is son of John Minick and Hannah Mary Carlin who m. 2nd Frederick J. Shanafelter. William r. in the Bainbridge area of Lancaster Co.
