Strout, 82, a former road commissoner for the town of Brownville, died here Monday evening after a short illness, He was born at Charleston, February 17, 1882, the son of Oliver and Lois (Abbee) Strout. He had lived at Brownville for several years and had been engaged in lumbering and farming. At one time he had served as road commissioner.
