[55032] "The Ellsworth American [Ellsworth, Maine]," 30 October 2023: "Charlotte I. Levesque passed away peacefully at the Beehive Memory Care Facility in Cortez, Colo., on Oct. 21, 2023. She was born on May 13, 1929, in Bar Harbor, the daughter of Percy and Doris Candage (Braily). Charlotte graduated from Bar Harbor High School in the Class of 1947 and married Russell Linscott (deceased). They had three children. She was a cook at the Emerson/Connors School for over 30 years and knew most all the children attending classes there. Charlotte and Russell were past presidents of the Acadia Bells & Buoys and enjoyed meeting and making new friends through square dancing in Maine as well as in Nova Scotia. She was a member of the Eden Baptist Church in Salisbury Cove. She married Peter Levesque (deceased) in 1991 and they lived in Bar Harbor. Peter and Charlotte were married for over 30 wonderful years, were inseparable and had many adventures together with trips to Arizona, California, Colorado, and Florida as well as England, Canada, and other places. She and Peter enjoyed spending time with their combined families of Levesques and Linscotts. Charlotte was an avid walker and you would see her on the Crooked Road as well as the YMCA track during inclement weather. She always maintained her wry sense of humor and stoicism throughout her life. Charlotte is survived by sons, Gary Linscott (Mancos, Colo.) and Joel Linscott (Bar Harbor); stepsons David Levesque (Newcastle), Jeffrey Levesque (Toledo, Ohio), Jon Levesque (Windsor, Colo.) and Mike Levesque (Southwest Harbor); grandchildren Luke Levesque, Austin Levesque, Joseph Levesque, Chandler Levesque, Ethan Levesque, Zachary Levesque, Maesa Day Levesque, Wil Levesque, Sarah King, Matthew Levesque, Tom Linscott, Stephanie Charron, Leslie McIver, Derek Linscott, Katie Martelli, Chris Linscott and Andrew Linscott; and great-grandchildren Kallu Charron, Jocelyn Charron, Cassandra Levesque, Ellie Linscott, Teddy Linscott, Liam Linscott, Emmett Linscott and Will Martelli along with many daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, nieces and nephews. Charlotte was predeceased by her son Wayne R. Linscott and stepsons Edward W. Barr and Thomas C. Barr."
