[40462] Thomas was ordained Rulind Elder of the Plymouth Church, chosen as successor to William Brewston, Pilgrim, elder, diplomat, politician. He and Mary had Thomas Cushman (1637 - 1726); Sarah Cushman Hawkes (1639 - 1694); Isaac Cushman (1648 - 1732); Elkanah Cushman (1651 - 1727); Eleazer Cushman (1656 - 1723); Lydia Cushman Harlow (1660 - 1719).
[47066] Harvey is son of Charles Edward Harp (b. in Sunbury, PA) and Lula Annie Stapleton (b. in Selisgrove, PA). Harvey served as a Cpl. in the U.S. Army in 1917. He was a mechanic for Independent Oil Co. at the time of his death. "Shamokin News-Dispatch [Shamokin, Pennsylvania], 31 December 1935," p. 2: "Harvey F. Harp, 44, Sunbury, died very suddenly at his home while seated before a radio, when he suffered an acute heart attack. Harp, employed as a mechanic for a large oil corporation, returned home after his day's work and seated himself before the radio before his evening meal. He was acutely stricked and death ensued before a physician could reach his side. Surviving are his widow, a brother and sister. The funeral is to be held from the home Thursday afternoon at 2:00."
