[47220] Barbara's obituary: "Barbara A. Lowers, 80 of Harrisville, passed away Saturday May 28, 2016 at Grove City Medical Center following a brief illness. Barbara was born in Grove City on December 15, 1935 and was the daughter of the late William Hoffman and Olive Cora Gould Hoffman. Barbara was a 1953 graduate of Harrisville High School and married her husband, Paul J. Lowers, on November 21, 1953, he proceeded her in death on December 8, 2013. Barbara worked for years at Kings Shoe Store, later Collins Shoe Store and Flowers Hardware in Grove City and served on the Harrisville Borough election board for many years. She absolutely loved her shoes, purses, and clothes. She was also an avid reader, enjoyed word and number searches, loved to sing and was a beautiful singer. She loved spending time with her family, her church family, and her grandchildren. Barbara is survived by three children, Wendy Sue Turner and her husband Gary of Harrisville, Paul Joseph Lowers Jr and his wife Patricia of Harrisville, and Stephen Alan Lowers and his wife Lisa of Grove City, five grandchildren, Abbie Michael and her husband Lucas, Cara Christine Turner-Hastings and her husband Isaac, Evan Paul Lowers and Emma Lowers all of Grove City and Jaia Lee Orient and her husband Joshua of Berkley, CA, two great-grandchildren Madison Virginia Michael and Landon Paul Michael, two sisters Linda J Wegner and her husband Charles of Harrisville, and Mary Lou Kelly of New Castle, and one brother David Hoffman and his wife Nancy of Apopka, FL. In addition to her parents and husband, Barbara was preceded in death by one sister, Nancy J Glavin and one brother William C. Hoffman."
