He had been in the lumber business and was a well known building contractor. He was a member of the Ohio Street Evangelical Covenant Church, which he himself built, and the Narraguagus Lodge, A.F. and A.M., Cherryfield. He is survived by his wife, Mildred (Clapp) Bunker, Bangor; four daughters, Mrs. Hazen (Beryle) Graham, Fredricton, N.B., Mrs. Ronald (Norma) Graham, St. John, N.B., Mrs. Herbert (Fern) Harvey, Winchester, N.H., and Mrs. Edward (Dorothy) Bucklin, Ellsworth: three sons, Ivan, Vernon, Samuel Aynor, S.C. and Merton, Penobscot; two step-sons, Walter K.
