[20852] "Ezekiel Cheever and Some of His Descendants" in NEHGR Vol. 38 (April, 1884), pp. 170ff., gives detailed information concerning Thomas and his descendants. This article states he graduated at Harvard College in 1677, was admitted to membership of First Church, Boston, MA in July, 1680, too the oath of freeman 13 Oct 1680, began to preach at Malden 14 Feb 1679 and was ordained there 27 July 1681 and organized the congregation at Rumney March where he served as first pastor. This article also provides his two wives and his children. Thomas is an ancestor of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt - see "Ancestors of American Presidents, 2009 Edition," Gary Boyd Roberts (Boston: NEHGS, 2009), p. 124.

Born circa 1260 in Ywern, Flintshire, Wales. Mentioned in various documents from 1278 to 1314. Living 1316 (Burkes says 'living 9 Edward II' i.e., 1316.) Richard married Angharad (or Agnes) Warren who was born circa 1264 in Warren Hall, Salop. Angharad is said to have been 'a daughter of Sir William Warren, Knight'. Burkes says her father may have been Sir Griffith Warren."

Troutman, a daughter, Lottie Troutman, of Selinsgrove; and two sons, Dr. Walter A. Troutman of Halifax, and John A. Troutman of Selinsgrove. Other survivors are three grandchildren, Mrs; R. S. Aucker, Elizabethville; Walter A. Troutman Jr., of Little Rock, Arkansas; and Ruth A. Troutman, Halifax; four great-grandchildren and two brothers, Charles and James Geist of Williamstown."
