Mr. Strohecker was born at RD Klingerstown Aug. 11, 1911, and was a member of Salem United Church of Christ Church, RD Klingerstown. He was a member of Klingerstown Fire Company. He was a Democratic committeeman of Jordan Township since 1939. He was married to the former Edna Paul April 15, 1933 at Leck Kill. Surviving are his widow and four children, Elwood R., of RD Millersburg; Anna, wife of Darwin Boyer, RD2 Lewisburg; Joan, wife of James Harner and Terry G. Strohecker, RD Herndon, 18 grandchildren, one brother Albert Strohecker of RD Herndon; three sisters, Mrs, Jennie Knorr, Bertha, wife of Ira Rebuck and Stella, wife of Charles Coleman, all of Sunbury."
