[20051] Is she confused with her mother or an aunt? - see death year. Emily is of "Monongahalia Co., VA" [now West VA] according to the "History of Wayne County, Ohio," p. 683. They had Boaz, Mary, Charles, Belinda, Presley and Enoch. J. Longley offered via email 6 Aug 2000: "I believe Emily was a daughter of Elijah Burroughs/Burriss, who arrived on West's Run E. of Morgantown, WV ca. 1770s, a little later than Elijah's father, John Burroughs/Burriss (name also of course given sometimes as Burrows). This West's Run settlement was mainly of folks from Sussex Co., DE. People from this settlement often, of course, married others who originated from same area. So a closer look at this settlement in land records and probate records would be worth while. Boydston(e)s figured prominently in the estate settlement records of Elijah, and I wondered if another daughter of Elijah had also married a Boydston. Others in the same settlement were of the Joseph family from Indian River Hd., Sussex Co., DE."
