Hatter, 82, of 9 Green Lane, Hegins, died Saturday at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center, where she had been a patient since March 25. Born in RR1 Klingerstown, June 25, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Jennie Geist Wolfgang. She was married to Glenn L. Hatter, who died Jan. 31, 1967. She was educated in Upper Mahantongo Township schools. She was a homemaker and enjoyed reading and gardening. She was of the Protestant faith. She was a member of Hegins Fire Company, Valley View Fire Company Auxiliary and Valley View Gun Club. She was a social member of Valley View VFW and American Legion. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Lenwood Hatter, who died Aug. 4, 1952; four brothers, William, Lester, Marlin and George Wolfgang; three sisters, Ruth Wolfgang, Pauline Wolfgang and Beatrice Schlegel. Surviving are eight children and spouses, Sharon Miller, Millersburg, and Terry, husband of Diana Hatter, Dennis, husband of Wanda Hatter, Steve, husband of Jane Hatter, Duane Hatter, Glenn Hatter Jr. and Brian Hatter, all of Hegins, and Michele, wife of Glen Strouphauer, Pine Grove; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lila Lucas, Donaldson, and Eleanor Hoke, Lebanon; two brothers, Kenneth Wolfgang, Donaldson, and Robert Wolfgang Jr., Hegins; nieces and nephews."
