He was preceded in death by his siblings, Margaret Reisinger, Steve Rice, Larry Rice, Dean Rice, Mary Bernheisel and Jack Rice. He was a retired co-owner of Rice & Harris Garage, Blain. He was a member of the Tressler Memorial Free Lutheran Church, Loysville, the Blain Lions Club and Beagle Club. Surviving are his wife, Marjorie L. (Goodling) Rice, four children, Robert E. Rice and his wife Judith Dexter, Nancy L. Stone and her husband Marty, Cindy L. Stone and her husband Kirk, Kathy J.
