[55535] "The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 29 November 1937, p. 11: "Ellsworth, Nov. 28 - Percival L. Wescott, 44, son of' Horace and Lillian Wardwell Wescott, died today at his home here after a long illness. Surviving is his father Horace Weseott. He was one of the first to enlist in the World war service and was more than a year overseas in aviation. He was a member of the American Legion and of the Veteran of Foreign Wars. Funeral service will be at the residence Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock by Rev. Paul H. W. Olander with honors by the American Legion and Legion bearers. Interment will be in Woodbine cemetery."
