[49362] Find A Grave memorial 39542868 offers: "Joseph Chadbourne, at the age of nineteen, while a student in the seminary at Kent's Hill, became a Christian. Ten years afterwards he became a member of the church in Bradford. He was for a time the efficient deacon of the church. In 1858 he took a letter and joined the Christian denomination, by which he was ordained March, 1859. He was highly esteemed among them. Four years before his death, he again became a member of the church in Bradford. He was much interested in education and a successful teacher. He was frequently elected to offices of trust and responsibility."

[22514] This family is as provided by Richard Conroy who reports that Thomas and Sarah moved from VA to TN about 1786 where he apparently is the Thomas McMackin who signed a petition in 1787 in the then "state" of Franklin.
