Jennette is survived by her son, John Varnum and wife, Grace, of Tremont; two brothers, Everett Hamblen and wife, Pat, and Richard Hamblen; one sister, Elizabeth Parsons and husband, Alan, all of Tremont; and one grandson, Mark Varnum and wife, Kristina, of Newport. She was predeceased by her husband, John R. Varnum Sr.; her daughter, Jane Varnum; and by four siblings, Leon and Edward Hamblen, Elva Rich and Lissie Melson."
