Erma's obituary: "Bridgewater - Erma Mae (Green) Bradstreet, 89, passed away at home on Friday, May 28, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 18, 1932, in Bridgewater, to Harley and Lillian (Bridges) Green. Erma attended Bridgewater schools. On April 7, 1951, she married Douglas V. Bradstreet and raised a family of nine children. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother and was affectionately known as 'Grammy Erma' to many throughout the community. She never missed a birthday party, school concert or program, graduation, or sporting event until the latter years when her declining health prevented her attendance. Her warm heart and inviting home were always open as she welcomed family, friends and guests alike. Erma enjoyed being a homemaker, caring for her children, grandchildren and their families. She adored any child that passed through her arms. Her door was always open and she welcomed everyone. She was always willing to set an extra place around the table, while you may have entered her home as a stranger, you were blessed when you left. Grammy Erma was the center of our family and leaves behind a legacy of love. She had a kind and generous heart, a listening ear, and a loving voice that could always be heard offering one more 'I love you' as you went out the door. She was a member of the Free Baptist Church of Bridgewater, and would begin each day by reading the 23rd Psalm.
Erma is survived by her husband of 70 years, Douglas; four sons, Steven and wife, Trudy, Robert and wife, Julie, Terry and friend, Tammy, Troy and wife, Nina, all of Bridgewater; and two daughters, Janet Bradstreet of Florida, Barbara Carvell and husband, Bob, of Presque Isle; a daughter-in-law, Heidi Bradstreet and fiancé, Stan Saucier, of Ashland; life partner of Edward, Randy Ross, of Florida; 18 grandchildren and their spouses, Leigh, Jill, Kari, Beau, Luke, Matt, Mark, Kris, Reid, Jon, Eric, Billy, Jeremy, Doug, Mike, Noah, Nick and Sophia; many great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandsons. Erma will also be missed by a special niece, Georgina (Green) Pompano of Connecticut; friends, Cherry Cowan, Richard and Judy Trecartin, all of Bridgewater; and many extended family members and friends. In addition to her parents, Erma was predeceased by sons, Ronnie, Gary and Edward; a daughter-in-law, Gloria; and siblings, Evelyn, Edna, Robert, Harry, Bernice, Henry, William 'Junior' and Herbert."

He married Polly Larrabee about 1779, in York, Maine, United States. They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 5 daughters. [42119] Harriet's obituary (from Find A Grave): "Mrs. George W. Sanderson of 518 Mifflin Street, passed away suddenly early Saturday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. C. Poffenberger, in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, where she had been making a protracted visit. The immediate cause of death was a cerebral hemorrhage, although she had been in failing health for several years. Mrs. Sanderson was born in Huntingdon on April 5, 1855, the daughter of G. Ashman and Hannah Garretson Miller, and was a descendant of the pioneer families of the Juniata valley. Her earliest American ancestors were Scotch-Irish and English Quaker colonists who were actively engaged in developing educational progress in Maryland as well as being extensive landholders and planters. She received her education in the public schools, the Old Academy, and Juniata College, then a Normal School. She later taught school at various places in the county and in Bedford, during which period she had as pupils many prominent men of this community, who hold her in affectionate regard and remembrance. In 1884 she was united in marriage to G. W. Sanderson, a well known merchant here for many years, who preceded her in death by seven years. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Cloyd Shuss, of Baltimore, Md., and Mrs. J. C. Poffenberger, of Cleveland. Five grandchildren also survive: Mrs. George Blankford and Elinor Shuss, of Baltimore; Margaret, Jean and Cameron Poffenberger, of Cleveland. She was a faithful member of the St. James Lutheran church, and of the Standing Stone Chapter of the D.A.R. During her entire life she took an active and keen interest in public affairs, particularly those of educational import, and she will be sorely missed by a host of neighbors, relatives and friends."
