(2) 28 Dec 1671 in ME to Isaac Marston (b. 1650), as indicated in the "Brackett Genealogy" of 1907 - not verified by AEM. Ancestral File states her marriage to Isaac Marston was 28 Dec 1674 in Portsmouth, NY (AFN: 95C7-KN). Family Tree Maker's "Early New England Settlers" (CD #504) in "One Hundred and Sixty Allied Families," p. 40, reports that Jane m. (1) 1671 Matthias Haines (son of Samuel Haines) and (2) 1697 Isaac Marston (son of Thomas Marston and Mary Estow). Her places of birth and death are from Find A Grave memorial 91999831 in 2019.

[14673] The unverified Whitcomb/Wells Family Tree in Ancestry.com in 2018 offers: When Peres Whitcomb was born on December 11, 1832, in Springfield, Vermont, his father, Cummings, was 33 and his mother, Arubah, was 29. He married Mary Skinner Bates on December 25, 1860, in his hometown. They had five children in 13 years. He died on March 25, 1915, in Springfield, Vermont, having lived a long life of 82 years. "Rutland Daily Herald [Rutland, VT], 27 March 1915," p. 5: "Perez Whitcomb, one of Springfield's oldest citizens and most prosperous farmer, died at his home in West Springfield district last Thursday evening after a lingering illness. Mr. Whitcomb was born in this town December 11, 1832, and was the son of Perez and Priscella (Litchfield) Whitcomb and received his education in the public schools in this town. He was a member of the Springfield Congregational church. He is survived; besides his wife, by three sons, Walter R. Whitcomb and Arthur B. Whitcomb of this place and Philip G. Whitcomb, who is assistant superintendent of the house of correction at Rutland, and one daughter, Mrs. May H. Randall of St. Johnsbury, two brothers, Lyman and Myron Whitcomb of this place."
