Shughart, 81, of 15 Nayor Ave. Clementon, N.J. and formerly of New Bloomfield, will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in Boyer Funeral Home, 101 W. Main St., New Bloomfield. He died Sunday, March 11, 2001 in Kennedy Medical Hospital, Stratford, N.J. Born Feb. 20, 1920 in Enola, he was the son of the late Clarence Telle and Addie Kissinger Shughart and the widower of Mary Bretz Shughart, who died in 1997. He was a 1937 graduate of Tressler High School, Loysville. A retired employee of Boeing Aircraft, he was an industrial and aerospace engineer who had also done engineering for General Dynamics, Chrysler Missle Division and McDonnell-Douglas. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, VFW Post 6253 of Berlin, N.J. and past grandmaster of Adams Lodge 319F&AM. Mr. Shughart is survived by three sons, William F. II of Oxford, Miss., Paul T. of Sasebo, Japan and Gregory D. of Clementon, N.J.; 5 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild. The Rev. Robert Knight will officiate at services. Burial will be in Bloomfield Cemetery with military honors."
