[29428] Gleason attended high school in Lewiston, ME, supporting himself working part-time for a local physician. He then attended Boston University and passed the Massachusetts Bar in 1906. Opening his own law office, he also began instructing law students in his home. This led to his establishing the Suffolk School of Law, now Suffolk University in Boston - founded to offer instruction leading to a law degree to men who had full-time day jobs. Gleason wrote the definitive genealogy "Ancestors and descendants of Joshua Williams, a Mayflower descendant and pioneer" (Boston: Wright & Potter printing company, 1927). Frank married Harriet L. Allen on July 9, 1902 in Wakefield, Massachusetts. Frank was a graduate of Wakefield High School and the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy. He served as Postmaster of Wakefield from 1923 to 1934 and was a former chairman of the Wakefield Board of Selectmen."
