[12201] Find A Grave memorial 101393723 offers: "Wife of Thomas Stradling of St Donats in Glamorgan, who died in his youth, and Sir Rhys ap Thomas, K.G., privy councillor, chamberlain, governor, justiciar, and seneschal of most of Wales, Jenett died on Feb. 5, 1533/34 at Picton Castle, near Haverfordwest in Pembrokeshire. Sister of full blood to Sir David Mathew, lord of St Fagan's Castle, Sir William Mathew, K.B., lord of Radyr, and Morgan Mathew. By her first husband Jenett was the mother of Sir Edward Stradling, Harry Stradling, and Jane, wife of Sir William Griffith of Penrhyn. Jenett was the only legitimate daughter of Thomas Mathew, lord of Radyr in Glamorgan de jure uxoris, who was married to Katherine, daughter of Morgan ap Llewelyn, lord of Radyr, a descendant of Iestyn ap Gwrgant, last ruler of the royal house of Morgannwg and a descendant of Saint Tewdrig himself. She was a granddaughter of Sir Dafydd ap Mathew, lord of Llandaff and seneschal of the cathedral there, standard bearer to Edward IV at the battle of Towton (1461), by his wife Gwenllian, daughter of Sir Dafydd ap Gwilym of Y Cappel in Monmouthshire [brother of Tomas ap Gwilym of Llansantffraed]. Jenett was descended through a direct male line from Aeddan ap Gwaithfoed, who took the Crusader's Cross from Archbishop Baldwin in 1188."

According to one record she is Sarah Coles. She and her ancestry are from http://www.bcooper.aaahosting.net/dat71.html#15 in 2003 and are not verified. Also see http://members.gtw.net/~dollard/ancestors/pafn12.htm which offers: "The will of Hugh Parrell does not mention a daughter Sarah, but he did leave 300 acres to Sarah's husband, 'my loving kinsman John Bruce'. This could be interpreted to mean that Sarah was Hugh's daughter and her inheritance was directed to her husband, but it could also mean that the inheritance was directed to his sister or another relatives' husband. Hugh Parrell and Sarah's husband both died in Sep 1748. The birth dates of the children of John and Sarah Bruce and Hugh and Ann Parrell seems to indicate that all four were probably born around 1690 or earlier, so it would appear that they were from the same generation. John Bruce's will was written in Nov 1747, nearly a year before Hugh's will was written. It seems to me to be much more logical that Hugh knew John was about to die also and he was making sure his sister was taken care of." She was born March 2, 1934, in Ellsworth, the daughter of the late Elliot and Louise (Cole) Stratton. Evelyn was educated in Sullivan graduating from high school there in 1952, as the class salutatorian. Once married, she became a military wife for 20 years, traveling the world along with raising her family. She had resided in Pease Air Force Base, Portsmouth, N.H., Ramey Air Force Base, Puerto Rico, Loring Air Force Base, Presque Isle, Selfridge Air Force Base, Detroit, Mich., Kadena Air Force Base, Okinawa, Japan and Hill Air Force Base, Utah, where she and her husband spent 24 years. While in Utah, Evelyn worked as a certified nurse's assistant and for more than 17 years was an advertising agent for K-mart in Utah. Most recently, she moved to Harrington with her husband in 1996, where she became active with the Osceola Grange No. 570 of Harrington and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary American Legion Post No. 8 of Cherryfield. In addition to her husband of 46 years, Alonzo C. Willey Sr., family members include daughter, Inez Day of Cherryfield; two sons, Alonzo C. Willey Jr. and his wife, Debbie and Wayne Willey and his wife, Dawnelle, both of Ogden, Utah; one stepson, Glen Willey Sr. of Auburn; and one stepdaughter, Ronda Rhodes and her husband, Richard, of Faxon, Okla.; seven grandchildren, Jordyn, Ryan, Glen Jr., Richard Jr., Brooke and Kendra; and nine great-grandchildren; and one sister, Eleanor Daley and her husband, Raymond, of Sullivan; and two special friends, Betty Look of Cherryfield and Carol Ann Ferlin of Morgan, Utah. Mr. Weidner was employed as a union painter in the Richland County area, was a past member of the Mansfield Eagles, V.F.W. Post #291 of Shelby and had served with the U.S. National Guard from 1929 to 1940. Survivors include one stepdaughter, Catheryn Ernsberger of Clearwater, Florida; eight grandchildren including, Rita Eldridge and Dan Ernsberger both of Shelby; 15 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, nieces nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by bis wife, Faye S. Weidner on Feb. 9, 1995, one step daughter, Evelyn Poppa in 1981, tvo brothers Milton and Sherman Weidner and one sister Eunice Geirspeck."
