A file in Ancestry.com in 2014 offers: "Life of Carl Raymond Lowry as Composed by His Wife, Donna Louise Edmunson-Lowry - Written Sometime After 1961:
"Carl Raymond Lowry was born in Des Moines, Iowa on May 17, 1897. He later moved to Missouri, Kansas and Oregon, where he lived in Creswell for a time. In 1915, he moved to Rickreall, Oregon. In 1919, after receiving his navy discharge, he came to Springfield, Oregon. With his brother, Sam, he operated the McKenzie Stock Farm, which was owned by W. O. Starbuck, a former neighbor and resident of Iowa.
"On September 24, 1921, Carl married Donna Louise Edmunson of Goshen, Oregon. In less than a year they moved to Goshen and raised hops and later fruit, specializing in cherries. They had one son, Donald James Lowry, and were then living within 1/2 mile of Goshen. Donald James was born on September 17, 1925.
"On August 3, 1947, he married Gail Delores Buss. She was born September 26, 1928, near Lake City, South Dakota. They have one son, Dennis Carl, born on September 5, 1948. Another son, Bruce Allen, was born May 20, 1958. On August 6, 1961, another son was born, Neal Donald. (Since this story was composed, they had one more son, Kevin Daniel, on March 6, 1964.) They lived on a fruit ranch about three miles southwest of Goshen on Dillard Road."
Carl wanted his ashes scattered off the bar at Winchester, OR, but his wishes were overuled after his death by his second wife, so his ashes were interred in a crypt at the Rest Haven Mausoleum, Eugene, OR.

[28728] "New England Families," William Richard Cutter (Clearfield Co.), Vol. 4, p.2013, reports: "He was a Baptist in religion, and almost the only one of that faith in Newton for twenty years. He was baptized December 7, 1729, and joined the First Baptist Church at Boston in 1748. He was known as a 'bloomer,' or manufasturer of iron blooms, and had works on the lower falls in Newton for many years." This source provides his ancestry, children, etc.
