She was a native of the Ashland area, spending her life here, and was a member of the Polk Church of Christ. She is survived by her husband. Fred; two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Jane) Cooper of Polk and Mrs. Arlen (Marilyn ) Hanley of Sullivan; two sons, Major Jerry W. Hartley with the U.S. Air Force in South Carolina and James P. of Ashland; 11 grandchildren; a sister, Miss Dorothy Briner and a brother, Milo Briner both of Ashland." Fannie's marriage record states employement at Eagle Rubber Co. in Ashland; the 1930 federal census states she is "Stamper, rubber factory". She and Fred also had two children who died quite young, Delores M. and Raymond Eugene.
