www.delcotimes.com offers Lee's obituary: "Lee R. Bowers, 88 of Ridley Park died March 13, 2014 at Crozer-Keystone Hospice at Taylor Hospital. Born in Landisburg, son of the late David and Margaret Rice Bowers, he lived in Prospect Park prior to moving to his late residence in 1954. Mr. Bowers was a US Navy Veteran who served during World War II, he received the Pacific Theater Ribbon, American Theater Ribbon and the Victory Medal. He retired from Westinghouse Corporation after 41 years.
Lee was an avid New York Yankees fan and loved gardening, traveling and playing pinochle. He also enjoyed music and played the trumpet. He was husband of the late Ruth Reinhardt Bowers who died July 18, 1991 and brother of the late Del Bowers, Jean Simon and Rose Sheehan. Survivors: father of Jeffrey L. Bowers and Beth Ann Bowers. Graveside Service: 11 a.m. Saturday, May 17, 2014 at Mount Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery, 800 Fallinger Spring Rd., Landisburg, PA."

She is survived by three sons and two daughters, Johnson W., Dry Run; Roy and Horace, of Turnerville, Canada; Mrs. Harry Hazlett and Mrs. M. S. Harry, Dry Run. The funeral was held Wednesday at 10 A. M. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Hazlett; burial in Path Valley cemetery." The unverified Skinner Tree in Ancestry.com in 2012 states Annie r. West Donegal, Lancaster Co., PA in 1870. Ancestry.com offers: "Campbell Name Meaning - Scottish: nickname from Gaelic cam 'crooked', 'bent' + beul 'mouth'. The surname was often represented in Latin documents as de bello campo 'of the fair field', which led to the name sometimes being 'translated' into Anglo-Norman French as Beauchamp. In New England documents, Campbell sometimes occurs as a representation of the French name Hamel."

The town of Cherryfield is composed of No. 11, Middle Division, Brigham Purchase, and of the northeastern part of what was formerly Steuben. All that part of Cherryfield lying south of the mills on the first or lower dam was, prior to 1826, a part of Steuben, and was called Narraguagus to distinguish it from the settlement in the southwestern part, which was called 'Head of the Bay,' and the post office at Cherryfield was called 'Narraguagus' until within some twenty-five years past. [6723] Gladyce was Town Clerk of Aurora for 40 years and treasurer of A. R. Mace, Inc. Among her survivors was a sister, Marvel Bradbury of Ellsworth, ME. Her husband's obituary, April, 1999, mentions his sisters-in-law Beverly M. Jones of Hermon, ME, Gloria F. Fields of Augusta, ME and brother-in-law the Rev. Dr. M. Douglass Willey of Long Beach, CA. After her husband's death she operated the Mace Store in Aurora, ME.
