[8750] "The Perry County Times [New Bloomfield, Pennsylvania], 4 April 1974," p. 2: "This community was saddened on Tuesday by the passing of Mr. Clarence H. Noll, 88, of the Square. He was a life long resident of Green Park and so far as I know was the oldest. I have known Mr. Noll all my life and I can truthfully say, I never met a finer gentlemen. He was a retired farmer most of his life having heen a carpenter later. Survivors include a son, Chester K. Noll, Green Park, two daughters, Mrs. Harold Soule. New Bloomfield, and Mrs. Helen Sheibley, Elliottsburg. He had nine grandchildren, seventeen greatgrandchildren and three great-great grandchildren." Clarence is son of Jonas Noll and Rosanna Hostetter, and was born on the Michael Noll homestead at Green Park, Perry Co. He farmed and was a carpenter there. Mabel was a member of the Elliottsburg United Evangelical Church.
[15879] "Notes & Queries", 21 July 1860: "George Ogilvie of Dunlugass m. Beatrix, daughter of Lord George Seaton, by whom he had Walter his successor, and a daughter married to Sir Alexander Fraser of Philorth. He departed this life anno 1612, in the uncommon age of 105. . . . George his grandson (through Sir Walter, his son and heir) was created a baronet by Charles I in 1627, and afterwards Lord Banff in 1642. This noble house continued early in the present century [1800s] . . . ."
