Tucker, 59, died Sunday at an Ellsworth hospital after a long illness. He was born in Cherryfield August 29, 1903, the son of Edgar and Dora (Hutchings) Tucker. Surviving besides his father is his wife, Maud; five sons, Lionell of Northeast Harbor, Allan of Medway, Lawrence of Holden, Ray of Boston, Mass. and Brian of Cherryfield; two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Morrison of Northeast Harbor and Mrs. Alice Martin of Bangor; two sisters, Mrs. Hilda Gordon of Miibndge and Miss Kathleen Farnsworth of Cherryfield; one brother, Dana of Somesville; 11 grandchildren and several cousins, nephews and nieces. Private funeral services will be held at the Campbell Funeral Home Wednesday at 2 pm with the Rev. Herbert Wass of East Machias officiating. Interment will be In the family lot in the Pine Grove Cemetery in Cherryfield."
