"**Marriage, Death and Baptism Records of Rev. John Evans Finley, third Pastor of Faggs Manor Presbyterian Church, Londonderry Twp., 1781-1793, Chester Co. PA.**
"Although there are perhaps about 20 entries which indicate Chester Co. locations, one of the 1791 entries reads:
"**Robert Bruce to Barbara Gavil, Bart Twp. 10 Aug. 1791**
"(Note: I don't think there is a Bart Twp. in Chester Co. I would rather think that Robert and Barbara were in Chester Co. at the time of their marriage and Robert gave Bart Twp. as their after marriage residence. Some support is given to my conjecture in that in the 1800 Federal Census a Widow Bruce is enumerated in Bart Twp.).
"As Robert was born in 1797 and Rachel in 1801, how far fetched is it to think that their parents are indicated by the marriage of Robert and Margaret Gavil in 1791?"
