"The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine], 11 Oober 1965," p. 26: "Seal Harbor - Heman L. Blaisdell, Sr., 81, died Sunday at a Bar Harbor hospital after a brief illness. He was born at West Franklin July 8, 1884, son of Enoch and Eunice (French) Blaisdell. He had been gardner for 19 years at the estate of the late Mrs, Mark Hanna and had been gardener at the estate of Mrs. R. M. Hoe for 20 years. He had also been caretaker at the Seal Harbor Cemetery for three years. Mr Blaisdell was a past officer of the Knights of Pythias at Bernard and was a past member of the Seal Harbor Fire Department. Survivors are his widow, Jennie Blaisdell of Seal Harbor; one son, Heman Blaisdell, Jr. of Seal Harbor; one sister, Mrs. Mina B. Young of Marblehead, Mass.; two grandchildren, one great grandchild, several nieces and nephews."

He married Margaret Ethel George on March 6, 1926, in Detroit, Michigan. They had six children in 12 years. He died on March 12, 1957, in Michigan at the age of 56, and was buried in Massachusetts. When Margaret Ethel George was born on April 3, 1908, her father, Ralph, was 27, and her mother, Lenora, was 27. . . . . She died on November 19, 1990, in Ridgeway, Michigan, at the age of 82, and was buried there." Find A Grave states Harry d. 12 Feb 1957 and is buried in Ridgeway Cemetery, Ridgeway, Lenawee Co., MI. The grave marker records he served in the U. S. Cavalry during World War I. Margaret is buried with him. The 1910 federal census in Ridgeway, Lenawee Co., MI lists Margaret E., b. in 1908 in IN, daughter of Ralph W. George and Lenora M. _____."
