Anna Mae was predeceased by a sister, Kathryn Carson Smith, in 2008. Surviving is a nephew, Edson T. Smith and his partner, Susan Reny, of Somersworth, N.H., nephew, Carson T. Smith, of Braintree, Mass.; and niece, Eliza M. Smith, of Charlestown, Mass."
