She was a witness where Guillaume VI Gui-Geoffroi, comte de Poitou, duc d' Aquitaine et de Gascogne formed a marriage alliance with Alfonso VI of Castile by giving his daughter's hand, this would counter his enemies politics, the viscount of Béarn and the count of Armagnac who were closely related to the king of Aragón, in 1073. Reine de Castilla Agnes d' Aquitaine married Alfonso VI Fernández 'el Bravo', rey de León, son of Fernando I Sánchez 'el Magno', rey de Castilla y de León and reine de Castilla Sancha Alfonsez de León, in 1074 at winter; His 1st. Reine de Castilla Agnes d' Aquitaine appears in a charter issued by her husband, Alfonso VI, on 16 June 1074 at Burgos. She was a witness where Alfonso VI Fernández 'el Bravo', rey de León made a donation to Cluny on 22 May 1077. Reine de Castilla Agnes d' Aquitaine is last mentioned in a donation of Alfonso VI to Cluny on 22 May 1077. She and Alfonso VI Fernández 'el Bravo', rey de León were divorced circa 1078; Repudiated (for lack of male heir). Reine de Castilla Agnes d' Aquitaine died on 7 June 1078. She died without leaving issue. Reine de Castilla Agnes d' Aquitaine was buried in the monastery of Sahagún."

[13732] "Lewisburg Journal [Lewisburg, PA], 23 May 1929," p. 8: "Isaac G. Seiler, prominent resident of Selinsgrove, was fatally injured when the Ford coach in which he riding was hit by a Reading train above New Columbia, at 4:35 o'clock Thursday afternoon. He died at the Geisinger hospital, Danville, at 7:30, less than three hours later. Mr. Seiler, first superintendent of the sfate highways in Union and Snyder counties, since his retirement helped out when needed in various highway operations. For the past weeks he was in charge of oiling roads in the upper end of Union co. He left his work and started home in the late afternoon, arriving at Shower's crossing, where many accidents have occurred, just as the Cannon Ball Express had passed. He did not notice another train following the express, which happened to be the special of Superintendent Farrel, of the Shamokin division, carrying division officials. The locomotive hit the Ford car and crushed it to debris. Mr. Seiler was hurled through the windshield, and carried a distance of 75 feet. His head was crushed, but his body was not mangled. It is believed that he did not expect another trin, because of passing of the express, and drove on the track without looking to the north. There is a fair view of the road in either direction at that point. The crossing however, has no protection of any kind. The train was stopped and the injured man taken to West Milton. There he was given medical attention and a special train was made which took him to Danville, whence he was rushed to the Geisinger hospital. Efforts to save him were unavailing, and death came without his regaining consciousness. Mr. Seiler was aged 65 years, and is survived by his wife and one son, Albert D. Seiler, who conducts a printing establishment at Mt. Joy. Mrs. Seiler has been ill for years, and her condition is now critical. She is at the home of her son. His ardent love of outdoor life made him the most conspicuous hunter and fisherman in Snyder county, his fame in that particular extending throughout central Pennsylvania. He was associated closely with Tom ter, Bellefonte editor and sportsman. Mr. Seiler was a staunch Republican, and through the influence of Judge Witmer, received his appointment during the administration of Dr. Hunter as highway comissioner of Pennsylvania. He brought to that position industry, enthusiasm for good roads, and his work was altogether satisfactory."

In 1774 he bought property in Frederick County, Maryland where he resided until about 1800. He then moved to Adams County, PA where he remained until his death in 1821. He had 9 sons, the two eldest, George and Henry born in Berks County, PA. The remaining 7 sons - Jacob, John, William, Peter, Adam, Abraham and Philip - were born in Frederick County, MD. Jacob, William, Peter and Abraham remained in Adams County until their death. The others moved to either New York or Ohio. Abraham is somewhat famous as the owner of one of the Spangler properties on the Gettysburg battlefield."
