On August 18, 1939 he was united in marriage to Ines Blansit. Mr. Harris served in the US Navy during WWII. He and Ines lived many years in Kansas City, KS, where he was employed by Proctor & Gamble, working there for 42 years until his retirement. In 1970 he and his wife returned to southwest Missouri and lived in Chestnutridge. He was a member of Spokane First Baptist Church. Mr. Harris enjoyed ranching and playing the stock market.
